When Lou Di Giovanni was young, his father took him to the shop of Matt Giannone, a family friend, to get Lou a job.

"You don’t have to pay him," said Mr. Di Giovanni. "Just teach him."

And so began the lifelong career of Lou Di Giovanni's greatest passion, plumbing.

"I worked as a for a long time sweeping floors and carrying tools back in the 1970s," said Lou. "From 1976 until 1981, I worked as an apprentice during the day and attended Dobbins Plumbing School at night."

In 1980, Lou took the Journeyman's Test. Two years later, he received his Masters Plumbing License.
